If you wish to really go bold, go in for shades of black or dark brown. Draw a thicker line in the middle of the lid. You can even opt for a deep purple of deep blue liner for a stark effect. Now, blend in some color on the bottom lashes. You need to smudge the eye shadow to get the smoky look. Now, apply a light base color again.
