Someone Needs To Invent Better Storage For Makeup

I'm sitting here writing instead of doing schoolwork. Before that, I was walking past my nightstand and noticed, for the first time in the past ten minutes or so, that I have entirely too much makeup. That's not the problem as much as how there is no easy way to keep everything nice and organized.

My obsessive-compulsive disorder usually has me putting everything in nice, neat lines. That works for most things, but a lot of them come in these cute containers that don't quite like to fit into anything. Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with the cute containers, but they need to come up with something better.


If I head out to the garage, the boyfriend has all of the tools nicely and neatly organized.

They come on little plastic drawers that have slots for everything to fit nicely into. Why can't they do something like that with makeup?

It wouldn't have to be that complicated. It would need little dividers for each section, and a way of getting at things from the side (so you wouldn't have to go and check, for example, each lipstick to find the color that you wanted.)

It would also have to look really cute. Something shiny, maybe with a bunch of different patterns on it or something. I don't ask for too much, do I?

Either way, to all you inventor-types out there, my boyfriend is busy doing whatever it is that he's doing, and I'd probably buy several of these things, so get to inventing!
